The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman confirmed that the meeting last week in Rome between the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio was productive. Both sides exchanged views on important issues of regional policy and the international situation.
The two sides also discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in key areas. In particular, the importance of dialogue and collaboration between Iran and Italy for maintaining peace and stability in the region and beyond was emphasized.
During the negotiations, the parties highlighted common interests and national priorities, as well as the need to strengthen dialogue and interactions between the countries. Representatives of Iran and Italy also discussed current international issues and ways to resolve them based on cooperation through joint efforts.
"We believe that only through constructive dialogue and respect for the interests of each side can we achieve real progress in solving complex international problems," emphasized the Iranian Foreign Minister, expressing hope for further development of partnership with Italy.
