Muscat — Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi on Sunday called on the United States and Iran to extend the ceasefire and make painful concessions to succeed in negotiations aimed at a final solution to the war in the Middle East.Badr al-Busaidi wrote on the X platform: «I urge an extension of the ceasefire and continuation of the negotiations. Success may require everyone to make painful concessions, but this pales in comparison to the pain of failure and war».This stance came after the failure of talks between Washington and Tehran, hosted in Islamabad, to reach an agreement.
